With over 9 years of clinical experience and 16+ years in the behavioural sciences, I bring a structured, compassionate, and goal-oriented approach to therapy. Before becoming a clinical counsellor, I spent 10 years working with children, youth, and families — as a Preschool Teacher, Education Assistant, and Child and Youth Care Worker with the Surrey School Board, and for four years as a Residential Program Coordinator at Phoenix Society supporting clients through complex mental health, substance use, and life transition challenges.
At Wellness Talks, I work collaboratively with clients to create clear treatment plans and meaningful short and long-term goals, so counselling feels focused, supportive, and aligned with your values.
My work is grounded in attachment science, trauma-informed counselling, cultural awareness, and family systems. I'm trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT and EFFT), the Gottman Method, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and family-systems work — but frameworks are tools, not scripts. What you get in session is a real conversation, led by what you actually need that day.
I provide clinical supervision and mentorship for emerging counsellors and interns. I also serve as an Oral Adjudicator on the Exam Faculty for City University of Seattle's Master of Counselling Psychology program. Sessions are available in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
If any of this resonates — if you've been holding something heavy and you're ready to set it down with someone who won't flinch — I'd be glad to meet you.
