Culturally Sensitive Counselling & Therapy near Waterfront Station

Connection. Clarity. Change.

A short look inside Wellness Talks Health Centre — our space, our team, and the work we do.
Our Mission

A calm, inclusive space for the kind of work that actually changes things

Wellness Talks Health Centre is a Registered Clinical Counselling practice in the heart of Downtown Vancouver — a five-minute walk from Waterfront Station, tucked into the edge of Gastown. Our clinic is designed to feel less clinical and more like somewhere you can land.

We work with individuals, couples and families navigating anxiety, trauma recovery, relationship strain, burnout, grief, chronic pain, ADHD support, and life transitions. We are also an ICBC-approved provider — see our ICBC counselling page for accident recovery details. Every counsellor on our team is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) offering evidence-based therapy — EFT, EMDR, CBT, ACT, the Gottman Method, and somatic approaches.

Our approach is culturally responsive, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGBTQ2IA+ welcoming. You do not need to translate yourself before you walk in.

Language Options

Therapy works best when you can be yourself in the language you think, pray, and argue in. Our counsellors and network of associates offer sessions in English, Punjabi, Hindi, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Farsi. If you have a specific language need, contact us — we will do our best to match you.

Lived Experience

Our team brings lived experience alongside clinical training. We understand intergenerational family dynamics, newcomer adjustment, cultural expectations, religious and spiritual identity, and the particular weight of being the first person in your family to seek therapy. You will not have to explain the basics.
