About Erin

I'm a Registered Clinical Counsellor supporting individuals, teens, and youth navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, burnout, people-pleasing, and self-criticism. I offer virtual counselling across British Columbia and in-person sessions in Vancouver.

My goal is to create a calm, grounded, and non-judgmental space for clients who may feel hesitant, stuck, or unsure about starting therapy. At Wellness Talks, I work collaboratively to develop a clear treatment plan and set meaningful short and long-term goals together, so therapy feels supportive, structured, and aligned with your personal growth.

Many of the people I work with appear high functioning on the outside but feel exhausted or disconnected internally. Together we slow things down, build insight into emotional patterns, and develop tools that strengthen confidence, boundaries, and emotional regulation.

I draw from Person-Centred Therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, parts-informed and insight-oriented work, Narrative Therapy, a trauma-informed approach, and the Gottman Method (Level 1) for relational insight.

If any of this sounds like the conversation you've been quietly needing — or if you're a parent wondering whether your teen might finally click with someone — I'd love to hear from you.

What clients say about working with Erin

Grief & Loss
I came to Erin during one of the hardest seasons of my life. I felt overwhelmed by grief and unsure how to keep moving forward. Erin gave me a safe space to talk openly, cry, process, and make sense of what I was feeling without ever making me feel rushed. I really appreciated the gentle reflections and takeaways she offered between sessions because they helped me feel supported even after I left the room. Her support helped me feel less alone in my loss.

Youth & Child
Erin created a space where I felt comfortable opening up, even about things I usually keep to myself. She helped me talk through stress, school pressure, friendships, and feeling overwhelmed in a way that felt supportive and not judgmental. I liked that she gave me small things to try between sessions, so counselling did not feel overwhelming. Working with Erin helped me feel more understood and less alone.

Anxiety, Depression & Stress
Working with Erin helped me notice how harsh and critical I had become toward myself. She supported me in understanding where some of my body image struggles and self-critical thoughts came from, without making me feel ashamed. The reflection exercises and takeaways she gave me helped me start practicing more compassion in my day-to-day life. I began to feel less controlled by comparison, shame, and negative self-talk.

Couples & Family
I came to counselling feeling confused about what I wanted in my relationship and unsure how to trust my own feelings. Erin helped me step back and understand the patterns and stories I had been carrying about love, worth, and what I thought I had to accept. The questions and reflections she gave me between sessions helped me get clearer on my values, my needs, and what I truly wanted moving forward.

Career & Burnout
On the outside, I looked like I was managing everything, but inside I felt anxious, exhausted, and burnt out. Erin helped me slow down and understand what was underneath the pressure I kept putting on myself. I appreciated that she gave me practical takeaways and reflection tools after sessions, so I could keep working on things in real life. Our work helped me make realistic changes that felt sustainable.
