OUR TEAM
Lynsey Dobbie MCP, RCC - Senior Counsellor

With over a decade of experience in behavioural sciences, I support adults and couples navigating relationship challenges, attachment wounds, and the impact of difficult early experiences. Originally from Scotland, with time spent living in Ireland before moving to Canada, my international background enriches my understanding of identity, belonging, and life transitions.
My approach is attachment-based, emotionally focused, and person-centred. I create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, deepen self-awareness, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Clients often describe working with me as grounding, compassionate, and insight-building. Before becoming a Clinical Counsellor, I worked as a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with the British Psychological Society, supporting organizations in understanding motivation, communication, and interpersonal dynamics.
These experiences continue to shape the way I help clients grow today. I’ve also spent several years volunteering with the BC Crisis Line and the Pacific Postpartum Support Society, work that strengthened my belief in empathy, presence, and listening without judgment. In addition to my clinical practice, I am a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and often integrate mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and connection to nature into my work when helpful. Outside of sessions, I find grounding in the outdoors and enjoy walking the forest trails near my home on Bowen Island.

Esha Shoker MCP, RCC - Clinic Founder & Lead Counsellor
With over 18 years in the behavioural sciences and eight years in clinical counselling, I support individuals, couples, and families through life’s most difficult transitions including marriage and pre-marital counselling, trauma, grief, burnout, chronic pain, addiction, and relationship breakdowns.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), ICBC-approved therapist, and Level 1 Clinical Supervisor, I bring structure, warmth, and clear direction to every session. Clients often describe therapy with me as focused, grounded, and results-driven.
I also serve as an Oral Adjudicator with City University’s Master of Counselling program, a role I’ve proudly held since 2020, supporting the next generation of counsellors. My earlier decade with the Surrey School Board in early childhood and special education continues to shape my work with families and professionals navigating change and stress.
Rooted in my Sikh Punjabi upbringing, I offer a culturally informed, judgment-free space where therapy can be conducted in English, Punjabi, or Hindi. My approach integrates CBT, Motivational Interviewing, EFT, Family Systems, Mindfulness, and Trauma-Informed care to help you feel balanced, confident, and clear about your next steps
