Esha Shoker MCP, RCC - Clinic Founder & Lead Counsellor

With over 18 years in the behavioural sciences and a decade in clinical practice, I support individuals, couples, and families through life’s most difficult transitions. My practice provides virtual counselling across BC and in-person sessions at our Downtown Vancouver clinic, focusing on marriage and pre-marital counselling, trauma recovery (PTSD), grief, burnout, anxiety, and chronic pain.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), ICBC-approved therapist, and Level 1 Clinical Supervisor, I bring structure, warmth, and clear direction to every session. Clients often describe therapy with me as focused, grounded, and results-driven. I also serve as an Oral Adjudicator with City University’s Master of Counselling program, supporting the next generation of professionals since 2020. My earlier decade with the Surrey School Board in special education continues to shape my work with families navigating stress and neurodiversity.

Rooted in my Sikh Punjabi upbringing, I offer a culturally informed, judgment-free space where therapy can be conducted in English, Punjabi, or Hindi. My approach integrates CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), Family Systems, and Trauma-Informed care to help you feel balanced, confident, and clear about your next steps.

Lynsey Dobbie MA, RCC - Senior Counsellor

With over a decade of experience in the behavioural sciences, I support adults and couples navigating relationship challenges, attachment wounds, and the impact of difficult early experiences. Originally from Scotland and Ireland, my international background enriches my understanding of identity, belonging, and major life transitions. I offer virtual counselling across BC and in-person sessions at our office in the heart of the city near Waterfront Station.

My approach is attachment-based, emotionally focused (EFT), and person-centred. I create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, deepen self-awareness, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. Clients often describe working with me as grounding, compassionate, and insight-building. Before becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), I worked as a Chartered Occupational Psychologist, supporting organizations in understanding motivation, communication, and interpersonal dynamics.

These experiences continue to shape the way I help clients grow today. I have also spent several years volunteering with the BC Crisis Line and the Pacific Postpartum Support Society, work that strengthened my expertise in postpartum mood, fertility stress, and anxiety. In addition to my clinical practice, I am a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide and often integrate mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and connection to nature into my work. Outside of sessions, I find grounding in the outdoors and enjoy the forest trails of Bowen Island.

Kunal Kumar Moorjani, MCP, RCC - Senior Counsellor

With over 12 years of experience in client-oriented service, I am a compassionate and dedicated counsellor who approaches each individual with warmth and empathy. I understand that seeking therapy can be daunting, and my goal is to create a safe, inviting space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. I offer virtual counselling across BC and in-person sessions at our office in Gastown.

My practice is rooted in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy. I provide a trauma-informed, person-centered space and am deeply committed to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I strive to offer a culturally safe environment that honors diverse identities, making space for the unique nuances of navigating relationships and self-discovery.

I am particularly passionate about supporting clients through grief, relationship challenges, addiction, and trauma recovery. My experience as an addictions counsellor in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES) deeply shaped my holistic view of addiction as a response to stress and trauma rather than a moral failing.

As someone who migrated from Hong Kong, I am fluent in Cantonese and take pride in offering culturally informed care that respects diverse backgrounds. Whether you are navigating complex PTSD, seeking relapse prevention, or working on emotion regulation, I view our work as a collaborative partnership. I am committed to walking alongside you with compassion and a deep respect for your innate resilience.
