TRAUMA & PTSD COUNSELLING

SERVICES

How Wellness Talks Can Help

Trauma can change how you see yourself, others, and the world around you. At Wellness Talks, we provide a calm, supportive space where healing can begin at your own pace. Whether your trauma stems from a recent event or past experiences, our trauma-informed counsellors help you process painful memories safely and rebuild a sense of stability and trust.

We support individuals coping with PTSD, complex trauma, emotional neglect, relational trauma, or accident-related trauma, guiding each person toward safety, empowerment, and renewed connection with self.

How It Works

Our work begins with creating safety and stability before processing deeper experiences. Sessions may include approaches such as Somatic Experiencing (SE) to help release trauma held in the body, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to reframe unhelpful thoughts, and Mindfulness-Based therapies (MBSR and MBCT) to foster grounding and emotional regulation.

We also integrate Narrative Therapy to help you re-author your story and move from pain toward empowerment, as well as Attachment-Based Therapy (EFIT) to strengthen emotional safety and connection in relationships.

Why It Works

Healing from trauma isn’t about erasing the past—it’s about reclaiming your power in the present. By combining body-based and cognitive techniques, we help you calm your nervous system, reduce triggers, and restore balance between your mind and body.

What to Expect

You’ll experience a compassionate, confidential space where you can process safely and at your own pace. Over time, you’ll notice fewer intrusive memories, improved emotional regulation, better sleep, and a growing sense of peace and confidence.
