GRIEF & LOSS COUNSELLING

SERVICES

How Wellness Talks Can Help

Grief changes the way we see ourselves and the world around us. Whether you’re mourning the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a pet, or a version of life you once knew, our counsellors provide a compassionate space to help you process, reflect, and heal at your own pace.

At Wellness Talks, we understand that grief is not something to “get over,” but something to move through with care. Our counsellors support you in making sense of your emotions, reducing isolation, and rebuilding a sense of connection and hope.

How It Works

Through personalized, evidence-based therapy, we help you:

  • Understand the emotional and physical responses to grief

  • Explore and express feelings of sadness, guilt, anger, or confusion

  • Develop healthy coping tools for day-to-day functioning

  • Reconnect with meaning and purpose after loss

  • Honour your loved one or past chapter with rituals, memory work, or self-compassion

Our sessions may incorporate modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Grief Processing to meet your individual needs.

Why It Works

When grief is witnessed in a safe, validating space, healing begins to unfold. Our approach helps you understand that there is no “right” way to grieve and no set timeline. By combining emotional expression with practical coping strategies, we help you gently reorient toward life while staying connected to what matters most.

What to Expect

Each session is guided by compassion, curiosity, and respect for your pace of healing. You’ll leave with greater emotional awareness, practical tools to manage daily triggers, and a renewed sense of stability and meaning.
