HOW TO PREPARE FOR A CALL OR VIDEO SESSION

SERVICES

Preparing for video counselling sessions.

You will receive an E-contract outlining the perimeters of the sessions. Upon accepting a deposit, you will receive an invoice and email containing a Zoom link to your session.

  1. Please ensure you are in a private place for a session where you will feel comfortable speaking freely during the session.

  2. If you are using your phone, please make sure to download the Zoom App prior to the session.

  3. Check that your audio and video are working.

  4. If you do not receive a link, email us and we will resend immediately.

  5. If the session connection is too poor, we will revert to a phone session.

Preparing for phone counselling sessions.

You will receive a contract outlining the perimeters of the sessions. Upon accepting a deposit, an email containing my phone number will be sent.

  1. Please ensure you are in a private place for a session where you will feel comfortable speaking freely during the session.

  2. Ensure your phone has sufficient battery life and a good signal.

  3. Get ready for the call a few minutes before the scheduled start time.

  4. I will call you at the start of the appointment.

Virtual counselling sessions

Our online counselling sessions will be like any other session: start on time, end 60 min later, wrap up with homework and booking a new appointment if desired.

If you are uncomfortable with video platform or do not have access to a private computer, a phone session is also an option.

​

It is important to continue to take care of your mental health during this public crisis and we hope that we can help support your journey.
